NEW YORK AIKIKAI 50TH ANNIVERSARY

With over 50 years of history, the New York Aikikai is the oldest continuously operating aikido dojo in 
the continental United States. It is world-renowned and respected for its traditional aikido instruction. To commemorate the occasion, a 50th anniversary logo was designed. The logo represents the year with the numeral 5 while the red circle serves as the zero and also connects to Japan as does the kanji. The new logo was implemented to tee shirts, signage and collateral. A 200 page, limited edition book, was also designed and produced.
